Josette Young has connections to country from Finke through to Ltyentye Apurte community (Santa Teresa). Josette worked at the community school in the early days of the art group that became the foundation for Keringke Arts, continuing when the art centre was built and work first started there. She is one of our senior artists, her quiet presence and consistency has resulted in a style of work unique in its layering of colorful dots, suggesting celestial places emanating from her country. Josette is a trainer for younger artists, and enjoys the shared companionship of her sisters Evelyn and Lucille in Keringke art centre activities. Full Bio » »
