Jilary Lynch was born at Alice Springs, and has lived at Ltyentye Apurte (Santa Teresa) for all her life. Jilary paints a unique combination of story given her from her uncle Shorty (Mulladad) and from her contemporary awareness of survival in the bush. The results are powerful, bold designs with icon and dot imagery, depicting places familiar to her and her family from their Eastern Arrernte region near Garden Station and back over to Arltunga.
