Biography

Paul Williams, or Nyinga as he is known to his family and friends, is amongst the small group of men who have begun painting for Keringke. Nyinga and his wife, Kumin have three children. Paul loves to go out bush to walk and hunt. He also enjoys craft work, especially making wooden artefacts.

Nyinga's paintings are about the eastern Simpson Desert, which is on the edge of his family's traditional country. These paintings show the many aspects of the desert, the light radiiating from it, the special places and the land forms.
